Hello, we are seeking one or more freelance, telecommuting Drupal, LAMP developers to add to our virtual team.

This is a part-time, adhoc opportunity with the possibility of short-term full time contracts for the duration of a project.

We are passionate about the work we do, and we go beyond the call of duty to make sure that all of our clients are impressed with our work. We are seeking like minded people to add to the team.

You are:

• Experienced Drupal developer
• Experienced with LAMP
• On Skype during office hours
• Reachable by cell-phone for emergency needs
• Able to show impressive sample code
• Able to present custom Drupal development
• Able to troubleshoot performance or logging issues in a timely manner
• Are capable of working autonomously and proactively
• Are qualified to freelance as an independent contractor [1099]

Work needs are intermittent, with various project types from on-call trouble shooting and maintenance, to full blown site overhauls, merges and migrations to totally new website application development.

Preference given to US based freelancers, and especially to folks who reside in Portland, OR and New York, NY.

Typical tasks might include:

• Database merges and migrations
• Custom module development
• Custom theme template.php functions
• Unix / Apache / mySQL configuration changes and optimizations
• Creating remote install and monitoring scripts

Other useful skills you might have could be:

• Jquery coding experience with fancy sequential animations
• HTML5/CSS3 with fall-back to CSS2 design to drupal theming experience
• Flash AS3 development

Pay rate will either be hourly or task-driven. With rate to be negotiate depending on experience and type of project.

Approximately 50% of our work is non-corporate, ethical, humanitarian, non-profit, socially focussed. These projects offer a chance for you and I to work on subjects we resonate with, but offer a slightly lower hourly wage. Please indicate on your application if you are also interested in non-profit projects or only commercial ones.
